PSLE Science Revision Packs: Smarter Exam Prep in Singapore

September 30, 2025
A mother and daughter giving thumbs up while using Luminee Learning’s PSLE Science Revision Packs on a tablet.
Two weeks ago, we released the Must-Know PSLE Science Keywords booklet — helping students identify the exact terms that examiners award marks for in open-ended questions. Mastering these keywords is the first step toward securing full marks instead of partial marks.
This week, we’re taking the next step. The new Science Revision Packs give students the chance to apply those keywords in exam-style practice, where accuracy and context matter most.
Each pack focuses on one commonly tested topic from Primary 3 to Primary 6, covering:
  • Diversity of Living and Non-Living Things (General Characteristics and Classification) (P3)
  • Energy Forms and Uses (Heat) (P4)
  • Electrical System (P5)
  • Interactions within the Environment (P6)
These topics were chosen because they carry higher weightage in past-year PSLE papers. Such targeted topical practice directly aligns revision with exam demands, strengthening your child’s conceptual understanding and answering techniques for the commonly-tested topics.

🔍 What’s Inside Each PSLE Pack

Each revision pack contains:
  • 10 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) to test recall and sharpen conceptual understanding.
  • 7 Open-Ended Questions (OEQs) to practise applying the correct keywords in written answers.
This mix mirrors the demands of Paper 2, training students to switch between quick recall and precise, detailed responses.

Why These Topics Matter for PSLE

  • Interactions within the Environment (P6): Real-life examples of interactions between and within living and non-living systems in the environment are frequently tested in OEQs.
  • Electrical System (P5): Analysing effects of variables (e.g. number and arrangement of bulbs / batteries) on the electrical current in an electric circuit are frequently tested in MCQs.
  • Energy Forms and Uses (Heat) (P4): Explaining heat gain / loss, heat transfer by a conductor of heat and effects of heat (expansion / contraction) in real-life scenarios are frequently tested in OEQs.
  • Diversity of Living and Non-Living Things (General Characteristics and Classification) (P3): Characteristics of living things, especially animals, plants, fungi and bacteria, are frequently tested in MCQs.

🗣The Takeaway for PSLE Confidence

With the new Science Revision Packs, Luminee gives students a smarter way to prepare: revising the topics with higher exam weightage for both MCQs and OEQs, while reinforcing the keyword precision that examiners look for.
By moving from keywords to application, your child builds both confidence and exam readiness — one targeted pack at a time.
Try it now and better support your child’s final lap to PSLE success! ✨
